This viral success has translated into international brand awareness, outstanding sell through at retail and has secured distribution in over 50 countries across the globe.

The Zimpli Kids story
  • 2007: The launch of Gelli Baff.
    The first box of Gelli Baff was sold into the UK market in January 2007 and we are proud to say we have had the same initial selection available in multiple UK retailers now for over 10 years. In this 10+ year period, our worldwide sales are over 30 million units of Gelli Baff and 20 million units of Slime Baff, all using the exact same trusted patent protected formulation.
  • 2013: The launch of Slime Baff.
  • 2014: Simba Toys launches Gelli Baff under the name of Glibbi in Germany!
  • 2015: The birth of Zimpli Kids.
    Beginning of our worldwide YouTube campaign, after just 2 months we hit 80 MILLION views worldwide.
    At this point, Zimpli Kids had under 10 members of staff and worked from a small Sales and Marketing office.
  • 2016: August 2016, we hit 1 BILLION views on our Gelli Baff and Slime Baff YouTube Campaign.
  • 2017: Moved into a larger premise and started manufacturing and dispatching UK orders.
    Simba became a major shareholder of Zimpli Kids.
    Our YouTube campaign hit 1.4 BILLION views, 2.5 BILLION in July and ended the year on 3 BILLION views in total.
  • 2018: Zimpli Kids moved again to considerably larger premises which allowed us to massively increase our own manufacturing capability. We put substantial investment into new infrastructure and machinery which has enabled us to manufacture 100% of products in our UK based, recently IS0 9001 accredited manufacturing plant.
    At the start of 2018, Zimpli Kids had 18 members of staff.
    We started the switch to eco-friendly packaging and joined the OPRL (On Pack Recycling Label) Scheme.
    End of 2018, we were awarded with ISO (9001:2015) certification.
  • 2019: The YouTube campaign currently has over 6 BILLION views.
    We now have 50+ members of staff.
    Zimpli Kids have secured distribution in over 50 countries across the globe.


Our entire product range is skin safe, stain free, drainsafe and easy clean! More importantly, after the 2018investigations into dangerous levels of Boron in many Slimeproducts, we are happy to confirm that our products containno boron, boric acid or any other boric acid derivatives.

We take the safety of all of our products exceptionallyseriously and this is evident in not only how thoroughly ourproducts are tested, but also in our choice to manufactureover 95% of our products in the UK. In late 2018, Zimpli Kidsmoved to a considerably larger premises which allowed us 5to massively increase our own manufacturing capability. We put substantial investment into new infrastructure and machinerywhich has enabled us to manufacture over 95% of products inour UK based IS0 9001 accredited manufacturing plant.Due to this UK manufacturing infrastructure, we can nowmanufacture and deliver bespoke orders in as little as a week.
